This update is a BIG one. We're adding a new stretch goal. If we hit $33,000, we're going to replace the 20 generic navy counters with 88 custom, historically accurate navy counters. These counters depict the actual Royal Navy and other allied ships in port during each of the game's nine missions.
Let's turn this:

Thank you and Stretch Goal updates!

Hi all! This update is a little different in that it's coming from me, David Thompson (the designer), rather than the DVG crew. I just wanted to personally say thanks for all the incredible support we've had. It's been cool to see folks spreading the word about this game.
We managed to meet our $25,000 stretch goal for the Gibraltar mounted board, which is awesome. Dan at DVG has decided to lower the funding amounts for the next two stretch goals -- the mounted boards for Alexandria and Algiers -- all the way down to $27,000 and $29,000, which is awesome. I think we can probably unlock both of those within the next few days, which would allow us to add some other exciting things to the game.
And remember, you can add a print copy of the companion guide and custom Italian-themed dice to your pledge if you want. And also remember, we're still taking ideas for what symbol to feature on the Italian dice.
Thanks again for all the support and feel free to reach out to me here (in the comments), on BGG, Facebook, or Twitter if you have questions about the game.

3d printed SLC Miniatures

Well isn't this awesome! Community member Paul Aceto managed to find an SLC miniature designed by Andrew Tanner, a wargame miniature 3d modeler. Andrew had modeled the SLC miniature as part of a larger Motor Torpedo Boat project. I approached Andrew about making the SLC miniature available separately, and he was more than happy to help out. So if you want to add SLC miniatures to your copy of By Stealth and Sea, you can get the model from Andrew at Wargaming3d.com. Andrew has made the model available for free, so you can print it yourself if you have a 3d printer, or you can have a printing service print it for you.
